National Day Celebration

On National day this year, we decided to invite hubby’s family over (parents in laws; brother-in-law’s family and sister-in-law’s family) to celebrate the day together as we are able to view the fireworks from our place since we stayed on the 15h floor..

Bro in law ordered the 933 curry chicken, sister in law baked a pie and we ordered “zi char” for dinner..  And after dinner, we all sit down to watch the National Day Parade..  Err…  not very impressive leh, when we compared to the ones at the recent Beijing Olympics..  Anyway, the kids had a great time and here’s a whole family photo.

Our “Friends of the Zoo” membership is expiring soon and so we decided to make just one more trip before it expires..

Here’s some photos..  Apparently the visit to the water feature and the children playground is the highlight of the visit rather than the animals..  Hubby and I are not complaining..  It is quite relaxing just sitting on the bench, sipping our coffee / pepsi while keeping an eye on the kids having fun.   They spent nealy two hours there.  i guess they really enjoyed it!
